BJP determined to resolve Kashmir Issue : Dy CM Nirmal Singh

Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Nirmal Singh today said New Delhi was determined to find a solution to the Kashmir issue. The government would create a conducive atmosphere so that all stakeholders, including the Hurriyat, were involved in the dialogue process.
“Our Home Minister has said all stakeholders can come. In our Agenda of Alliance, we have made it clear that the J&K Government will create an atmosphere where dialogue is possible. If there are grievances, the same should be put on the table with an open heart. There are no pre-conditions… so talk, then we will see how to move forward,” Nirmal said when asked whether the Hurriyat would be brought into the ambit of the dialogue process.
The comments were made on the sidelines of a function here a day after the Centre announced the appointment of former Intelligence Bureau (IB) director Dineshwar Sharma as its Kashmir interlocutor.
On the failed previous attempts to hold talks, Nirmal said this time the New Delhi leadership was decisive and there were high hopes that the Kashmir issue would get resolved. “There is a decisive leadership at the Centre… common people believe that a solution can come out given the mandate and personality the Prime Minister has. The Home Minister too repeatedly said a solution would come out. Our leadership is determined,” he said. Earlier, Nirmal paid tributes to Pandit Prem Nath Dogra on the eve of his 134th birth anniversary and described him as a “visionary leader.
